What is a WLAN card?
WLAN card enables connection to NeoWLAN network and transfer of data. Login is not possible without the card. Install IEEE 802.11b standard WLAN card into your portable or palm computer, or use a card mobile phone, such as Nokia D211.
How do I activate my WLAN card?
Install your WLAN card with the help of enclosed software and instruction manual, provided by the manufacturer. The majority of the processes are automatic, only WLAN internet connection should be set and adjusted to your internet browser. You should leave all IP settings on ‘automatic’ when installing the card. Once your WLAN card is successfully activated, an icon of two computers (network icon) is displayed in the bottom right corner of your computer screen.
How do I activate my WLAN card mobile phone?
Choose ‘Settings’ from the menu => create a new profile and name it: NeoWLAN => choose option: WLAN => choose option: Infrastructure => enter Network Name: neo. Note: network name has to be written in small letters!
How do I set the WLAN internet connection?
In Windows 98 operating system:
Click Start => Setting => Control Panel => Network => double-click ‘TCI/IP Network Cards’. In the ‘Properties’ tab, choose ‘IP Addresses’ and then ‘Obtain an IP address automatically’.
In Windows 2000/XP operating system:
Click Start => Setting => Control Panel => Network and Dial-up Connections => LAN Connections => Properties. Double-click ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’, choose ‘Obtain an IP address automatically’ and then ‘Obtain DNS sever address automatically’.
How do I adjust my internet browser?

If you normally use Microsoft Internet Explorer (which is correctly preset by default settings, meaning you only need to follow these instructions in case the settings have been changed): go to ‘Tools’ => Internet Options, ‘Connections’ window => double-click ‘LAN Settings’ and uncheck the ‘Use a proxy server for your LAN’ option.
If you normally use Netscape: go to ‘Edit’ => Settings, choose ‘Advanced’ from the menu => double-click ‘Proxies’ and uncheck either ‘Manual Proxy Configuration’ option or ‘Automatic Proxy Configuration’ option.
Why did the login fail?

Make sure you entered the correct password. Follow small or capital letters.
Check WLAN card installation, WLAN internet connection and browser settings.
Make sure the username or phone number you entered is accurate, as only Mobitel GSM network numbers are valid. Also check whether you entered your call number as well (031, 041, 051).
Password received via SMS is only valid for 5 minutes. After this time has expired, you have to login again, as the system does not automatically send you a new password.
Why does logout always have to be confirmed?
When you log out, you freeze your work, but you only disconnect once you confirm log-out. Logout has to be confirmed in order for the system to log you out completely. If you close the service window by mistake, open a new internet browser window and enter the word ‘neo’ in the title field. If you accidentally log out of the NeoWLAN network, open your internet browser and the system will automatically offer the entry page for you to log in again. If the desired internet page is not displayed after login, open a new internet browser on your portable/palm computer’s desktop; if you have successfully logged in prior to this, you will be able to access the desired internet pages.
Why didn’t I receive an SMS containing a password for NeoWLAN network login?
Problems with receiving SMSs could result from memory space available for SMSs on your phone and SIM card. Please check the number of SMSs saved in your phone or SIM card and try to delete one of them, thus enabling reception of a new SMS.
Why am I not able to login to the NeoWLAN network using my NeoWLAN prepaid card?
Make sure you entered the 13-digit number of your value card correctly, or make sure you accurately removed the silver foil covering the 13-digit number and all numbers are visible.
How long can I use the NeoWLAN network after first login with my NeoWLAN prepaid card?
NeoWLAN prepaid card users are able to use the NeoWLAN network until the subscription time runs out. Once you have entered the 13-digit number of the card you are using, the time starts counting down. If the use of NeoWLAN service has been disconnected, the user can use the 13-digit number of the NeoWLAN prepaid card to re-connect for the remainder of the time. Note that time keeps counting down even though you disconnected from the service.
