French telecoms supplier Alcatel has announced that it has been awarded a contract by French telco Bouygues Telecom for the hosting, operation and maintenance of its wi-fi network core, which was launched as a commercial service at the beginning of October. This service enables Bouygues Telecom to offer a range of value-added services to its corporate, professional and general public subscribers who connect to some 6,000 hot-spots in France and Europe. |
